Edward Baxter has lived and worked in Westminster since university. He has been a Governor of a Westminster Special School, is involved in literacy and maths programmes in Westminster and co-founded an initiative for professionals to discuss business with secondary school pupils.Edward is passionate about protecting and improving the area around Marylebone High Street as a very special place to live. He understands that the Council has a vital role to play in thoughtful planning, licensing and 'greening' in the area, while continuing to focus on high quality delivery of services like refuse collection and street cleaning.Edward believes that residents are entitled to first-class services at the lowest possible overall cost to them. As a management consultant, Edward understands the focus required to deliver excellent services with ever-improving efficiency.

| HARVEY MARSHALL

Harvey Marshall has lived and worked in St Marylebone for over twenty years. He practised as a Chartered Surveyor and is married with one son. Elected to the City Council in 1990, he was Lord Mayor in 2001-2. During his 20 years as a City Councillor, he has been Chairman of various committees, including Environment, Arts, Grants and Economic Development and a member of the Planning Committee. He is presently Deputy Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Families and a member of the Overview and Scrutiny Committees concerning City Development, Arts and Leisure. He is on the Police Sector Liaison Group and has organised the Marylebone Service for many years.He has a particular interest in planning and environmental matters, such as tackling traffic pollution and the continued greening of the City.

Ian was elected in a by-election in 2007 and, having been Deputy Cabinet Member of Community Protection, is currently Deputy Cabinet Member for Housing with a focus on strategic issues. He is also a member of the Community Protection Oversight Committee, Scrutiny Committee and Superannuation Scheme Committee. An economist with a doctorate in financial economies, Ian worked for UBS and Merrill Lynch as well as the Conservative Research Department and is now an Investment Director of a Fund Management company in the City of London.
