Tony is a Development Director for a European multi-national company. He has been active in local politics for over a decade and has stood twice for Parliament and once for the European Parliament. Tony recognises the valuable role both local businesses and residents' groups play within our vibrant communities of both Knightsbridge and Belgravia, to ensure that we all work to protect the quality of life of this very special 'village' within our capital city. He pledges to both listen and respond actively to local concerns, as well as to play a team role within our award-winning 'low-tax & excellent public services' Westminster City Council. Tony has worked extensively within the community since his selection in November 2005 and election to the City Council in May 2006. His outside interests include history, travel and enjoying the cultural life of our great city.

Rachael was a fund manager in the City for almost 20 years, specialising in emerging markets. She has been actively involved in politics for all her adult life and, among other things, is currently co-Chairman of Contact, a Conservative political lecture group with over 400 members. She has lived in Westminster for 25 years and is married with 2 children. Rachael says 'I feel very honoured to have been selected as a candidate to represent this very special part of London. More than anything, I understand the vital importance of listening to residents' concerns and, if elected, I pledge to do my utmost to work with them to ensure that Knightsbridge & Belgravia remains a wonderful place in which to live and work.'

| PHILIPPA ROE

Philippa Roe left the City, where she was a director at Citigroup, on the birth of her twins, having decided that a City career was incompatible with being a mother. She was elected in 2006 and is currently the Cabinet Member for Housing. Her previous political involvement includes heading the DfEE team on the Private Finance Panel advising government on the establishment of the PFI (1997- 1998), heading the Treasury team on the James Committee advising Michael Howard on cutting government expenditure prior to the last election, being a member of Public Sector Efficiency subgroup of David Cameron's Economic Competitiveness Policy Group and authoring a CPS booklet on the PFI and the Labour party misuse of it. Outside the world of politics Philippa is a governor of Imperial College, Vice Chairman of Macmillan Cancer Support London Events and a patron of Breast Cancer Haven.
